This box has recently been totally restored.
The Bramah locks (2) and replacement key (1) restored by Bramah of London, March 2022.
The brass plate is vacant for initials of next recipient.
The box was originally broken into to enter the bottom drawer and had a repair to its interior middle panel, now re-leathered. The base under also re-leathered., all the interior compartments are original. With original velvet coverings for Jewellery, rings etc in the lockable base drawer.
The lid compartment with its secret panel also re-leathered. And attached With its own spring-loaded button. All brass bindings restored, as are the Coromandel veneers.
Size 12″ x 7″ x 9″ overall and Renaissance waxing.
